In an effort to further enrich the professional growth of skilled Bangsamoro employees, the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro recently embarked on an institutional visit to Basilan State College on May 9, 2023. Led by the esteemed Executive Director, Shiekh HISHAM S. NANDO, M.A., the purpose of this visit was to nurture collaboration and forge a partnership between these two institutions.

The Development Academy of the Bangsamoro recognizes the importance of collaborating with esteemed institutions like Basilan State College. During the visit, valuable learning experiences, networking opportunities, diverse perspectives, and access to crucial resources were provided. Discussions focused on cooperation in short-term courses, specialized graduate programs, curriculum development, instructional technology, and joint research to address regional challenges.

Additionally, the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro is highly interested in harnessing Basilan State College’s expertise in instructional technology to enrich teaching methodologies and foster innovative learning experiences for their students. The discussions also highlighted the potential for collaborative research endeavors to tackle regional challenges and make meaningful contributions to the wider academic community.
