The Bangsamoro Youth Commission in coordination with the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro created a space for learning towards standardizing workspace through a one-day Orientation on 5S in the Workplace held last October 25, 2023 at Hall 4 of Mall of Alnor, Cotabato City. The orientation provided an overview of the systematic method in creating and maintaining an organized, clean, and high-performing workplace.
During the orientation, the BYC staff learned the foundational principles of the 5S methodology and real-world relevance and application. Through hands-on exercises and interactive sessions, they gained insights on how each ‘S’ can be seamlessly integrated into their daily operations. The discussions illuminated the profound impact of a well-organized workspace on productivity, safety, and overall morale. With expert facilitators guiding the way, the staff left feeling equipped and inspired to champion positive change within their respective roles. This orientation was more than just an introduction to 5S; it was an invitation to foster a culture of continuous improvement in the Bangsamoro Youth Commission.
