The Bangsamoro Information and Communications Technology Office (BICTO) is the first office in BARMM that requested DAB to facilitate the conduct of MOT to all their employees on August 7-11, 2023 at Venue 88, General Santos City. The objective of the training is to provide the government employees with contextual situation, historical, social, systematic, political and philosophical foundation as to why the Bangsamoro is the way it is in present, perform basic office skills that every employee must do, and attain the values that are expected from every Bangsamoro Employee. The activity was participated by 21 personnel including their Executive Director, Dr. Jonathan M. Mantikayan.

The three-day training was designed to provide effective learning and engaging activities for participants. This means that, the BICTO staff were not just learning but had fun with the group activities prepared by the facilitators. The content of the training focused on Civil Service Matters in the BARMM Handbook, the Bangsamoro Situationer, Moral Governance, Values Transformation and Professional Development, and the Basic Office Skills..

The Mandatory Onboarding Training is one of the flagship programs of the Academy as stipulated in the Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 17, otherwise known as the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code.
