In a significant step towards enhancing governance and organizational excellence, the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro successfully concluded a pivotal training on crafting its “Human Resource Development Plan.” Held from May 6th to May 10th, 2024, the intensive workshop occurred at the Acacia Hotel in Davao City.
The training aimed to equip key personnel from the Academy with essential skills and strategies to develop and implement an effective Human Resource Development Plan tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of the Bangsamoro region.
Throughout the five-day event, participants delved into various aspects of human resource management, including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement. Mr. Mohammad Abqary A. Alon facilitated interactive sessions, providing insights, best practices, and practical tools to navigate the complexities of workforce management.
The training’s significance extends beyond the academy’s walls, as a robust Human Resource Development Plan is vital for nurturing talent, fostering professional growth, and driving organizational success.
Meanwhile, the workshop on formulating the academy’s HRD Plan achieved significant milestones. It successfully ascertained the proportion of the budget dedicated to HRMD investment and presented a comprehensive overview of the academy’s personnel and employee demographics. Furthermore, the workshop meticulously evaluated the academy’s HR System, analyzing its implementation status and alignment with organizational priorities, and identified learning requirements. Additionally, a thorough problem tree analysis was conducted to pinpoint the root causes of HRD challenges within the academy.
Dr. Normia A. Salindal, Chief of the Finance and Administrative Division of the Academy, expressed her gratitude to all participants for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the training. She emphasized the pivotal role of human capital in advancing the academy’s mission of excellence in education, training, research, and knowledge management.
As the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro charts its course towards a brighter future, the knowledge and skills gained from this training will serve as a cornerstone for building a resilient and empowered workforce poised to contribute to the region’s sustainable development.
