The Development Academy of the Bangsamoro, through its Center of Training and Assessment, conducted a Mandatory Onboarding Training for employees of the Bangsamoro Commissions on April 15-18, 2024 at Crystal Hall, Ems Manor Hotel, Cotabato City. The said training was participated by forty-six (46) employees coming from Bangsamoro Women’s Commission, Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission, Bangsamoro Sports Commission, and Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
Mandatory Onboarding Training is one of the flagship programs of the Academy, and it forms part of the systematic onboarding program for all BARMM employees as stipulated in the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code. The training aims to transition the new employees into their role and onto their respective unit, section, or division. It is designed for the specific level and position of the new employees and reflected their unique work environment. It included the inculcation of moral governance principles and practices, the development of camaraderie, high-trust and high- performance organizational culture, the clarification of expectations, and the provision and use of resources and the compliance to organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. The training envisions that the onboarded employees develop professionally, adhere to the moral governance, and with high regard to Bangsamoro Leaders and history.
The DAB’s Mandatory Onboarding Training is a testament of the Academy’s commitment to provide BARMMS employees with the necessary tools and knowledge to become highly efficient and output-producing employees. With this success, DAB is looking forward to conduct more of these programs in the future.
