The Japan International Cooperation Agency-Capacity Development Program for BARMM (JICA-CDPB) recently organized a coordination meeting for the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro (DAB) and the Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG), focusing on a Capacity Development Program. This meeting, which took place on May 20, 2024, at the JICA Office in Cotabato City, aimed to delineate the training scope for DAB and the MILG-Bangsamoro Local Government Academy (BLGA).
The meeting was attended by DAB’s Executive Director, Hisham S. Nando; MILG’s Director General, Engr. Khalid Dumagay; and members of the Technical Working Group from both DAB and MILG. The results of this coordination meeting are expected to establish a baseline for strategic collaborations, capacity development initiatives, and knowledge sharing between DAB, MILG/LGA, and JICA.
