The Development Academy of the Bangsamoro provided technical assistance to Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) through Completed Staff Work Training on April 16-18, 2024 at Glamour Resto, Rosary heights VII, Cotabato City.
The International Decommissioning Body plays a significant role in the Bangsamoro transition. It oversees the process of decommissioning of the MILF forces and weapons to provide an enabling environment for the Bangsamoro. Thus, it is very important that they possess the skills that ensure effectiveness and efficiency at work.
The Training on Completed Staff Work enhances key competencies such as analytical and creative thinking, decision-making, information- gathering, communication, thoroughness, personal accountability, ethics and integrity, and teamwork that are necessary not just to government workforce, but among employees in general.
The DAB training team integrated dynamic workshops that required the participants to think outside the box that allowed them to utilize their analytic and creative thinking and decision-making skills. Over the course of three days training, the participants were engaged in interactive sessions designed to equip staff with the knowledge and tools necessary for supporting higher-level decision-making and improving the overall performance of their organization.
The successful completion of the training underscores the IDB’s commitment to continuous professional development and capacity building within its workforce. It also reflects the collaborative efforts between the IDB and the DAB to establish a culture of excellence and professionalism in service.
