The Development Academy of the Bangsamoro has conducted simultaneously two batches of Mandatory Onboarding Trainings on December 18-21, 2023 at Al Nor Convention Halls, Cotabato City. The said trainings were participated by 32 Human Resource Management Officers and 31 identified newly-hired personnel in the Bangsamoro government.
Mandatory Onboarding Training is one of the flagship programs of the Academy. The program is intended to onboard all BARMM officials and employees as provided in the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code. The HR Edition became a venue to enlighten our HRs on the content and significance of the Mandatory Onboarding Training to all BARMM Employees. As a result, the HRMOs in attendance expressed their commitment to lobby to their respective head of office the inclusion of Mandatory Onboarding Training on their priority activities to onboard finally all the employees from the different ministries, agencies and offices of BARMM.
The program aimed to introduce new hires to the Bangsamoro cultures, values, and work processes, with emphasis on the concept of Moral Governance as a policy direction of BARMM Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim.
The MOT was filled with various activities such as lectures, workshops, and team-building exercises. Participants were also given the opportunity to interact with each other and share their thoughts and experiences. The training facilitators and resource persons were commended for their invaluable efforts and informative inputs during the training.
DAB’s Mandatory Onboarding Training is a testament to the Academy’s commitment to provide BARMMS employees with the necessary tools and knowledge to become highly efficient and output-producing employees. With this success, DAB is looking forward to conduct more of these programs in the future.
